Built around 1700, the Ernespie House, as it was known, has a long and interesting history. Our restaurant seats up to 40 people and has views across the valley in front of the hotel. In one corner, our wine servery is there to tempt you into sampling any of our wines from around the world.

Sample Menu

  • Starter, Haggis turret, served with a whisky jus. Chilled mushrooms, cooked in a little garlic with a sweet chilli sauce and a splash of cream. Melon and orange cup.
  • Main Course, Fillet of west coast cod, poached and presented on a bed of steamed courgettes and noodles, served with a Hollandaise glaze. Fillet of pork, cooked and served in a creamy apple and sultana sauce. Royal game pie, laced with a malt whisky, served in a rich vegetable sauce. Boston black eyed bean casserole, served with rice. Sirloin steak garni, cooked to your liking.
  • Dessert, Pear and almond flan. Brandied creme brulee. Chocolate Sacher Torte.
